Seems the Godfather has been busy lately. Just when you thought you had mastered all the jobs he goes and adds more skill levels to them.
Now you can go back and do them again. There are 2 more skill levels for each job, all the information is on the home page, make sure you read up on it.
In other news, Carmella has been running around recruiting everyone she meets, the Family has reached 850+ and I still have invites to send out! Keep joining and if you haven't gotten your Family Growth and Confessions of a Capo make sure you do. Help spread the word.
I've been sneaking around the Godfather's headquarters lately looking for information. I found a few tidbits I'll be sharing in the upcoming newsletter.
I noticed last night that if you let your property insurance lapse the repairs are pretty costly. So I had to spend a fortune to repair then re-insure my properties. I think I need a guard dog...I wonder if Zynga could throw one of those into the game.

Yesterday was a busy day. The City was overflowing with people. My family has jumped in size from 400 to almost 900 in 3 days! And thats not counting the 150+ waiting for a Mafia invite - those Grow Your Family Lists are amazing. Now I might have some brawn to go with the brains :)
In other news, if you noticed your job mastery progress has changed or reset, it is a known issue that Zynga has addressed. The following is their reply to the problem (and of course we thank them very much for staying on top of things in the Mafia World):

"As some of you may know, we had an issue with our addition to the Job Mastery system last Friday. Unfortunately, there is no way to accurately restore all job mastery levels that you may have completed on an individual basis. We believe we've come up with a fair alternative, however.
If you are level 35 and above, all unmastered jobs currently available to you in the Capo, Consigliere, Underboss, and Boss levels will have their progress bumped up to be one job completion shy of the first level of mastery. If you had previously completed a job mastery and received the skill point and then had your progress reset back to 0%, you will be able to receive the skill point again. If you've already mastered a particular job again since Friday and are working on additional levels of mastery, your progress on those jobs will be advanced by 50%.
If you are level 34 and below, we will be giving you a special energy pack that will increase your total available energy by 500% of what your current maximum energy is. For example, if you normally have a maximum energy of 100, you'll get an energy pack that will temporarily boost your current energy to 500.
It will take a little time to roll these out to everyone affected by the job mastery issue, so if you don't see one of these two applied to your account immediately, please give it 24 hours. "
So if you have an issue, be patient. For those who purchased the guide book, newlsetters are on the way and there's a rumor about some neat merchandise coming our way!

I am confused yet again. I tend to stay that way, must be the street life getting to me. Was the unlimited invite for one day only? Has anyone else noticed that it was there and now its not? Or is Carmella's just stuck?

Happily, I can now access FB from the office on my BB. So I can accept those friend invites, if only I could play the game as well. Maybe soon. We'll see.

Wiseguys and Gals its been another tough day on the streets. But thanks to a fellow Mafia fan who left me some advice in the Forum, at least I did learn something about the property insurance and decided I might better keep it, at least until enough of us complain and maybe it gets removed.
In other news, if you're having trouble growing your family or just want it to grow faster, I've compiled the necessary information for you to increase drastically and quickly. Included with your Confessions of a Capo guide is a listing of Mafia War Players to grow your family.
Judging from the responses to the guide and the emails, this game has taken on a life of its own and I hope it just keeps growing.

Carmella's not sure if this is a new feature or if it was just discovered, but it is great!
After you invite people to join and they accept you have another free slot to add someone else. Virtually unlimited invitations. Gotta love this.
So, get those invites out and make yoru family grow outrageoulsy fast!!

That being said, I finally leveled up to 80 last night. I got a little frustrated with the game, it was loading so slowly. Going back and forth getting telephones to complete my job....finally mastered the Capo level - all jobs finished.
Has anyone figured out a pattern to the collections? I've completed 2 and have pieces/parts to three more. I've been trying to track it.

It has been reported from a fellow Family memeber that the City has been experiencing some down time today. I am quite certain that our pals over at Zynga are working diligently to make sure we are up and running. In fact I read they have a new member on board.
So hold on Guys and Gals, I'm sure all is being handled.

The new Mafia Wars Strategy Guide has hit the ground running. Seems having a guide to refer to when looking for loot items is a good idea.
Reviews so far have been positive and the first newsletter is underway. It will have details about a new inventory item for levels 100 and up and a new job to do.
