As you can see the website has had a little bit of a makeover. The other one was just too boring.
A new update to Confessions of a Capo will be sent out soon, it's getting harder to keep up with those guys at Zynga. Although I do think they need to add some more levels and possibly collections or something new.
If there is something you would like to see added to the website, send me a comment or leave it on the forum, I'll do my best to get it taken care of.

The City has sure grown, new families popping up on every corner, all wanting a piece of the action. Better stay on their own turf.
Although I didn't see a notice in the feature updates, I did see a new feature. "Help out with job" notifications and "Get Help with Job" option buttons appearing randomly. If you see one of these notifications click on it. You get Energy points for helping with a job. If you see the option to request help, you can and pay it forward so to speak.
Collections
The new collections are interesting. They have stirred up a lot of activity. More people communicating and sharing, families have to stick together.
Confessions of a Capo Part II
The update to the original book was emailed to all who purchased the original book and are part of the $4 package for any new buyers. If you bought one prior to March 28, 2009 you should have received your update. There were a few emails that bounced so if you didn't receive yours, send me your name and email and I will check the invoices then send you the update.

I owe my family and apology, I have had the flu and been out of commission, though I did check out the City on occasion while bedridden - then just as I felt well enough to catch up, sinus troubles set in. . I just couldn't get it together to update our blog.
My how things are changing in our little world. From top mafia to new collections. Not sure just yet how I feel about these changes.
For those who have purchased the Capo Book, I will be sending out newsletters in the next week. I will be including some new information and hopefully some new players to petition for your family.

My apologies, the day job has had me busy and then I got caught up in the City taking care of business growing the family and leveling up. Finally hit 1200 Family members and level 140. Waiting on more Boss jobs to open up. In the meantime I'm working on mastering all three levels of the other jobs. I have found some pretty neat items for mastering level 3.
I'll add them to an up coming newsletter.
Using the rewards hints has helped a lot in leveling up faster.

The family continues to grow stronger and stronger. We are pushing 1500 as of last night. If we could only add our friends faster to the game. I'm getting around to each and every name I have as a friend, just be patient as we all know we can only add so many per day.
In other news, I finally mastered the Underboss level last night and now am working on some new jobs that have appeared in the Boss level. I should go back and try searching for some more of the collectibles. Maybe tonight.
I did some more of the free reward points offers last night as well, hopefully when I get home I'll have some more reward points to use.

Finally, I feel like I have made significant progress! Having spent most of the morning in the City doing jobs I have mastered level 2 all the way to Underboss. I'm still trying to get 2 Humvees to achieve Underboss, that has been quiet frustrating.
Better news is that my Family has reached 989 and I have many more to invite to the game! Growing Your Family - my listing that comes with Confessions of a Capo has over 1100 names of willing players!
Reward points - Having an abundance of Reward points is one way to advance in the game. You are able to refill your Energy and do more jobs if you have Reward points. I finally decided to try some of the Reward points for offers and was quite pleased. The credit report offers have a one month free trial, so if you make sure to cancel before the end of that month then you aren't losing any money and you get alot of Reward points.

Seems the Godfather has been busy lately. Just when you thought you had mastered all the jobs he goes and adds more skill levels to them.
Now you can go back and do them again. There are 2 more skill levels for each job, all the information is on the home page, make sure you read up on it.
In other news, Carmella has been running around recruiting everyone she meets, the Family has reached 850+ and I still have invites to send out! Keep joining and if you haven't gotten your Family Growth and Confessions of a Capo make sure you do. Help spread the word.
I've been sneaking around the Godfather's headquarters lately looking for information. I found a few tidbits I'll be sharing in the upcoming newsletter.
I noticed last night that if you let your property insurance lapse the repairs are pretty costly. So I had to spend a fortune to repair then re-insure my properties. I think I need a guard dog...I wonder if Zynga could throw one of those into the game.
